Introductory Pole Dance Workshop (Turlock OR Merced Studio)
All beginner introductory workshop:
Come experience what pole fitness has to offer. All ages, sizes and fitness levels. Our students range ages 18 to 74, and come in every shape and size. Plus size welcome. This workshop is filled with all NEW beginners and we introduce you to pole safety, sensual stretching and floor-work, developing your own signature walk around the pole, and generating a beautiful, exhilerating spin. This single workshop provides the foundation to next join the regular on-going pole series classes. A great way to do your INTRO to Pole in a nice, specialized and sequenced format with other ladies who are new as well. If you register for this INTRO workshop scheduled for all new beginners, you will take your INTRO with a group of all new students and go through a series of our key foundational movements….
Wear comfortable workout clothing: shorts, t-shirt, tank tops or yoga pants. Footwear for the INTRO workshop is barefoot. Continuing classes will move into heels (great styles and selection available for purchase in our studio). There is no nudity.
PLEASE do NOT use lotion or oils on your hands or legs the day of class. Also, it is best if you NOT wear any rings, bracelets or watches. Please bring drinking water (we also have water for purchase).
Please note you are not required to take this workshop to start our classes. You are also welcome to attend your first class as a "sampler" AS PART OF A REGULARLY SCHEDULED CLASS. If you register for an "sampler" class as part of our regular class schedule (click here), you will join a regular class under the group curriculum for the week and learn the group skills being taught, which we will adjust accordingly for you as a beginner. This class is a great way to experience a regular class and see the amazing way in which our program has transformed our on-going students - both physically and as sensual creatures. No need to be intimidated by this group. They are warm and welcoming and will show you the way. We recommend EITHER format! In either case, our program is warm and inviting for you.
